Instructor: Chris Welch
How to write your own monologue for audition or performance
All attendees are expected to pay the $10 workshop fee.

SCRIPT BREAKDOWN
Instructor: Clare Durand
Clare is a member of the Director's Guild of America and has directed regularly for PRT, most recently The Pajama Game in 2024. Clare has experience as a Director, Stage Manager, and film and television Assistant Director.
This workshop will cover how to breakdown a script to identify all the elements needed for production and to use as a basis for creating a rehearsal schedule. While aimed primarily at Directors and Stage Managers, the process is useful no matter what your position in theater.
Workshop materials will be available for anyone who signs up by February 17. All attendees are expected to pay the $10 workshop fee.

SELF TAPE HOW-TO
Instructor: Georgina Brown
Georgina dances with AV Dance Studio 81. She has two children who are involved in dancing, singing, acting, and musical theater classes. Her daughter attends American Musical & Dramatic Academy, Los Angeles, CA and her son is a working child actor. Georgina is dedicated to supporting her children in their pursuit of Arts training. Georgina is also a lecturer and Practicum Coordinator at CSUB-AV campus. 
Learn the basics of creating self-tapes for auditions. Bring phone/tablet and/or ring light if you have them.
The first 6 to sign up will have priority for active participation in workshop activities. Additional participants are welcome to observe. All attendees are expected to pay the $10 workshop fee.
Thursday, February 26, 7:30-8:30 pm $10
BEGINNING TAP DANCE FOR THEATRE
Instructor: Colleen Metzger
Colleen has been doing tap since she was a child. She is currently active with AV dance studio 81 and has performed in many Cedar Street and PRT shows as an ensemble member doing all forms of dance  
A beginner-friendly workshop focusing on basic tap steps used in musical theatre. Bring tap shoes if you have them, if not a hard sole shoe will be helpful. No sandals. No prior experience needed.
The first 10 to sign up will have priority for active participation in workshop activities. Additional participants are welcome to observe. All attendees are expected to pay the $10 workshop fee.

MUSICAL THEATER AUDITION WORKSHOP
Instructor: Natasha Coleman
Natasha is classically trained with over 20 years of professional experience in both vocal and acting performance. She has starred in such iconic roles as Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro), The Witch (Into the Woods), Queen Gynecia (Head Over Heels), and most recently Dee Dee Allen (The Prom).  
This interactive workshop guides beginners through the foundations of musical theatre auditions — from choosing the right song to slate etiquette, vocal preparation, callbacks, and managing nerves — while also offering experienced performers up-to-date strategies on current audition trends, contemporary styles, and what creative teams are looking for today. Participants will leave with practical tools, personalized feedback, and greater confidence walking into any audition room.
The first 6 to sign up will have priority for active participation in workshop activities. Prepare two, one minute long, audition soundtracks (Bluetooth speaker will be provided), one upbeat song; one ballad. Sheet music is recommended but not required.
​Additional participants are welcome to take notes and ask questions. All attendees are expected to pay the $10 workshop fee.
